Through the support of the Centro Mujeres Tonantzin, we support over 70 students in school from primary through the university. Several of these students have graduated high school and several have graduated from the university. Thanks be to God!
MISIÓN DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA ESPERANZA
Working with Misión de Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza we help to support a healthcare clinic, daycare and Montessori school. The clinic provides medical services to those who would otherwise not be able to see a doctor. The Montessori school provides an above average education to 120 students 6 to 14 years of age, at minimal cost. The daycare provides a safe and educational environment for preschoolers so parents can work and siblings attend school.
ADOBE BRICK MAKER
We have purchased an adobe brick making machine in September 2009. This machine makes a very strong, compacted brick. The main material needed for the bricks comes directly from the ground where the homes are being built. How wonderful to be able to build a strong, warm and safe home for families at very little cost. It is both ecological and economical, what a blessing.
